The storage player is ushering in Phil Bullinger as CEO. His career in enterprise storage spans three decades and includes a spell most recently as senior vice-president and general manager of the datacentre business unit for Western Digital.

Even though many businesses have only been back at work for a few days, appointments across the channel have continued to stack up as firms look to bring on fresh blood and start new chapters. As a result, there are a couple of CEO appointments.

Infinidat Ltd appointed Phil Bullinger as CEO. He will be joining following a 30-year career in enterprise storage, most recently as the SVP and GM of the data center business unit for Western Digital. He will lead Infinidat through the next phase of its growth, building on the strength of the company’s solutions and customer relationships and expanding go-to-market capabilities and scale.

Infinidat, the enterprise large array supplier, has appointed a new CEO and CFO, replacing its co-CEO structure and completing the leadership transition from founder Moshe Yanai’s era. The new CEO is Phil Bullinger, the ex-SVP and GM of Western Digital’s Data Centre Business Unit. This business unit was largely shelved by WD in September 2019, with the IntelliFlash product sold to DDN and the ActiveScale archival array to Quantum.

Infinidat’s storage solutions are designed to manage demanding workloads and the provider has shipped over 6 Exabytes worldwide with 1 Exabyte shipped in the last six months. Additionally, Infinidat was named a leader in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage Arrays.
